Frequently referred to as by its trade name UNS 34700, the Aisi 347 Tube proves to be advantageous for use in high temperature settings, especially in those industries where the temperatures fall into the chromium carbide precipitation range. This essentially means that the alloy used in the manufacture of Stainless Steel Type 347 Welded Tubing can be utilized between a temperature range of 800°F to 1500°F. Mechanical properties of the Stainless Steel Grade 347 Round Tubing such as creep & stress rupture properties, in comparison to grades 304 or 304L, are much higher.
