A mild steel angle is a metal angle, commonly known as an MS angle. It has an L-shaped sectional cut. High-strength, highly corrosive-resistant, and economical, these angles have become a prominent type of application in various construction works. Typical uses of MS include structural reinforcement in transmission towers, bridges, and, as in all such constructions, framing and shelving. The steel angle usually forms a 90-degree angle with equal and unequal sides. When both sides are of equal length and thickness, it's called an equal angle, while when one side is bigger than the other, it is an unequal angle.
